    Ajay Anne

    Head of Equine Investments​

    Ajay’s early immersion in the equine world began at his birthplace within an Indian Army Stud farm, over a century old, where he was blessed by the presence of more than 2,000 horses. The son of a Colonel in the Remount And Veterinary Corps, Ajay was introduced to horseback riding at a tender age, paving his way to become an internationally recognized equestrian, winning laurels for India across numerous global events. 

    Upon completing his Business Administration degree, Ajay embarked on a specialised Post Graduate Diploma in Horse Racing Control in 1999, subsequently initiating his career at the Hyderabad Race Course as a licensed racing officer. His appointment marked him as the youngest individual to attain such a position by the Turf Authorities of India at that time. 

    In 2004, Ajay achieved the distinction of being the first Indian to be selected for the Darley Flying Start Programme, a globally acclaimed two-year thoroughbred industry management and leadership training program. His tenure with Darley Dubai as the UAE Representative post-graduation involved managing bloodstock requirements for the Middle East, expanding into emerging racing markets, and delivering unparalleled racing experiences to VIP clients and guests, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. 

    Ajay’s extensive experience, spanning seven countries, and his innate ability to identify exceptional horses, inspired him to found his own comprehensive Bloodstock Company in early 2010. Furthermore, as the Managing Director of Eurofip International, under Altya Investments of the Mulliez family, Ajay oversees operations of Martin Collins Enterprises. This entity is celebrated for creating Polytrack, an all-weather surface used at thirty racecourses globally. 

    Currently serving as the Head of Equine Investments within the Investment Expertise Hub at SLICIT, Ajay spearheads the development of the equestrian-related investment portfolio, encompassing Stallions, Proven Horses, Broodmares, and Yearling candidates. In this capacity, he offers expert advisory services to clients, delivering comprehensive, impartial insights on market trends, valuation, and strategic investment and divestment decisions.
